Pakistan condemns suicide attack on clerics in Kabul

  • Pakistan reiterates its unequivocal condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Monday condemned a suicide attack on a congregation of religious clerics in Kabul that killed at least seven people and wounded several others.
The clerics at the gathering issued a religious decree against suicide bombings. Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry said: “We are grieved at the loss of precious innocent lives in this barbaric act of terrorism.” 
It added: “We express our heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the bereaved families and pray for the early recovery of the injured.”
Pakistan reiterated its condemnation of terrorism in all its forms, and expressed solidarity with the Afghan people and government.
